So it has been a while since I have updated this. Pandemics, births, deaths, promotions, moves, awards, and new web accesibility standards. Yet this site has remained the same without comment. I am working on that....
It was a interesting challenge during the pandemic to create content with the lockdown eliminating the ability to take new photography or film. Despite the challenges, it was a pleasure collaborating with the film team on the video that accompanied the president's report print piece that I designed this year, and I think they both came out great.
We won the gold - CASE VII Awards of Excellence for the magazine this year. The cover story of our summer issue was such a interesting experience, we were essentially on call for when the surf was good and Cayla was available.
We won the Silver (highest awarded) in the CASE VII Awards of Excellence for the magazine that we recently redesigned (and I art direct). I am lucky to work with such talented colleagues.
My fabulous colleague Brad Dudley invited me to present on a infographics project we collaborated on for the university. We will be presenting at the WASC conference (Senior College and University Commission) this April.
I just finished my first viewbook, viewbooks are one of the main print tools that colleges use for advertising their degrees to prospective students.
I am excited to announce my new role as Senior Graphic Designer in Pepperdine University's Integrated Marketing and Communications Department. One of my favorite projects so far was the 2014-15 Seaver College Annual Highlight viewbook.
I just finished an annual report and e-blast for a great non-profit organization whose mission is to mobilize community volunteers to advocate for abused and neglected children. It has been a pleasure working with the CASA Los Angeles team!
